The main study will be in the ACIM Text Book. Some people have
expressed to me that it is rather difficult to get into the study of
this text by oneself. I can identify with this concern because I had
the book for over a year before I found a class on it that opened
up my understanding and I have not looked back since then.
ACIM is my constant source for spiritual guidance and inspiration.
I will begin with a brief history of the Course and those who were
instrumental in bringing it into all of life. So whether you are new
to the Course or want to do a review please join us for this
weekly study.

This study will use the new book "Mystery of 2012" as the text for
this study. There are several prominent thinkers who are
contributors to this book including Gregg Braden, Barbara Marx
Hubbard, John Major Jenkins, and James O'Dea to name a few.
Each contributor brings a different perspective of the coming of
2012. All agree 2012 is not the end of time but you will discover
as the study proceeds it marks a critical shift in the history of our
planet as we know it.
This time together will provide for discussion as well as your own
perspective to share with the group. Other resources that will be
used during the study are; Gregg Braden's Zero Point video and
John Major Jenkins, CD on the Mayan calendar and culture.

Plan now to join Rev. Charles Duncan as he leads us in a *New
Meditation Journey *each week followed by Discussion and
Intercessory Prayer.
A typical class consists of a gentle relaxation meditation,
teaching, discussion, and final meditation. The meditations are
guided and are suitable for beginners as well as the
experienced. Each class is self-contained so feel free to join at
any time!
The purpose of meditation is to make our mind calm and
peaceful. If our mind is peaceful we shall be free from worries
and mental discomfort, and so we shall experience true
happiness; but if our mind is not peaceful we shall find it very
difficult to be happy, even if we are living in the very best
conditions. If we train in meditation our mind will gradually
become more and more peaceful, and we shall experience a
purer and purer form of happiness. Eventually we shall be able to
stay happy all the time, even in the most difficult circumstances.
We close our Meditation Circle with Prayers of Protection.

month to learn and practice Tarot. This is not a class, but an
ongoing study group. This group has been meeting for five years.
It is structured so we all learn together and from each other.
