What Is My Purpose
A Message from Spirit as Channeled by Paula Baldock
Many of you ask, "What is my purpose? Why am I here?" And we tell you that you are here to
remember who you are. This is a grand time in the history of your planet. You volunteered to be
here at this time -- this time of chaos and tumult. You said, "This time I will come and I will
remember who I am. I will remember that I am Divine, that I am Creator. This time I will let my Light
shine and be a powerful creator.
There are no coincidences. You have come to this place in this moment in time to be a Lightworker
of great magnitude. This does not mean that you must stand on a street corner announcing to the
world that you are Creator, that you are Divine. No, my dear ones. Actions always speak louder than
words. You merely have to Be. Be joy. Be Love. Be Peace. See everything through your Divine eyes
and love all as they are. Know that they are serving their Divine purpose just as you are serving
yours.

Common Denominator

Power, Control, Survival
Feel the energies of these words...
Underlying these words is often the feeling of desperation.
Power, unless it comes from the heart, can be used to dominate and
control. Many of us like to have power over people, things. As a
society, we tend to respect those in power...sometimes we blindly give
respect and trust to those we revere who have power.
Control is a false sense of being in charge of life, destiny, people, and
situations. Attempting to control and manipulate is to play God. We
build a house of cards and find out that it can come tumbling down.
With the destruction of that house of cards goes our illusion that we
are in control. Illnesses, betrayal by a spouse, loss of a job or
relationship can blind side us and leave us afraid and alone.
These life traumas can shake us to the core of who we are. We are
afraid that we are unlovable, destined to be alone. We feel worthless.
There are moments in our life when we come face-to-face with the
consequences of our choices---At times, these consequences can
devastate us and leave us feeling desperate. Wondering how we will
survive? Wondering how we can go on? Feeling alone. Afraid there
is no way-out. Afraid there is no one to turn to.
Underlying the need to be in power, or the need to be in control, or
afraid we won't survive, is FEAR! I see all these issues as a spiritual
crisis.
A few years ago, I really struggled over the concept of power! What is
it? How is it misused? Why did it not feel good to have power OVER
someone?
Through much communication with the spiritual hierarchy, I realized
that true power only comes through the correct use of our heart-
energy---love! I want to be powerful because of my love. Can the
interactions that I have affirm those I come in contact with? Can I be
present in each moment of my life and can I really see and connect
through my heart with those around me? Can I make each moment in
my life count? Am I powerful enough to heal all that keeps me from
being in my heart? Am I powerful enough to stand in the fire with
those I am journeying through life with? Am I powerful enough to put
aside my false self and those selfish wants, in order to claim all that
Source has for me? Am I powerful enough to admit that I am not
perfect and have faults and vulnerabilities? Am I powerful enough to
accept help and support?
Control is another illusion of our false selves. Truly, when we buy into
this illusion we become imprisoned by our fear and desires. For true
freedom comes when we let go of the need to have it all planned out
and work to manipulate life into what we think it should be. Letting go
means surrendering, but to whom or what are we surrendering? Is
our life view one of a safe world or dangerous one? How is our
relationship to the Divine? As I have surrendered to the flow of life and
followed what brings me joy, I have found life to be a wondrous
amazing adventure!
My level of surrender has varied from time to time! A friend of mine,
Nikita Gearing, told me a few years ago about what she surrenders
to...The River of Yes which for me is the Infinite Source of all. At times
as I surrender, I can only put my toes into the River. Cautiously,
wondering if I will be safe...At times I am not afraid to ride the rapids.
My job is to always release my resistance so that I can surrender to
the Divine Flow of the River. For the River has Infinite Intelligence
which will support me and take me to the people, circumstance and
events in life that will serve my Highest Purpose. And I must say, it is
a tremendous relief to give up CONTROL!!! I don't have the burden
any longer to MAKE my life work. I get to play in creation-mode and do
what brings me joy! I get to create my life and what I want and Source
creates the how it will occur!!!
I see the primary concern over survival as a spiritual crisis also. Once
again, this requires that I have the life view that as I work and align my
energies with the Light and desire to be of loving service to the Light,
that the Source makes available all the resources of the Universe to
help me fulfill my purpose.
This month as you examine your life, know that I send each of you love
and light. If you desire a partner to assist you in opening to the power
of your heart love, or to release the false illusion of control so you can
surrender to the higher path that is available to you, or if I can assist
you by providing information to increase your trust in Source, I am
happy to serve you.

| The Gift of Life by Azita Gonzalez Such is the nature of life That one can lead oneself to refreshing waters, For you are so built that you should know everything you need to survive And everything that you want to know in this world. You are so loved, that life is a gift of experience, A treasure to behold, And a gift to give as well as to receive. To enjoy your life fully, Is the greatest gift you can give to the Creator that has given you life itself. Yet you co-create, So you make what you want of your life… So be it that We are intertwined- Divine Will and the will of man, One may choose what one wants to do with one's life, Yet the Divine plan remains and will be fulfilled. So spake God that you should love each other, So that you may truly know of God in yourselves and in others And live peaceably in this world, For if you are not to love one another, You have denied a part of yourself, And that part being of God- unconditional love. So spake God that you must learn right from wrong, And by being in this existence, You will be given plenty of opportunities to learn this. By doing the “Will of God,” You are creating for yourself a fulfillment of your own Divine plan. For it is in following your heart And the path of love and light, That you shall find happiness in the fulfillment of your soul's plan. And happiness is a choice. Remove yourself from those situations which keep you from happiness, But know you that what you experience, Is based on how you choose to perceive a situation. For everything is in balance. It moves, shifts, and changes, but remains in balance. So spake the Lord that life is a gift, So treasure it. That's what I am enjoying here, the light from you, a star
That's shining out so brightly, in a sky of deepest blue
Where the JOY of where I'm traveling's heightened by the light of "you"!
Though I know we're all reflections in God's great eternal sky
Of the glory and the goodness of the wonder and the "why"
Of the reasons we are here and the reflections we create
By the loving we are learning and the light we radiate,
But there's just something deeply joyful about a light that shines on you
With a certain touch and twinkle that is then transformed into
A special glow, a radiance, with a glory all its own
That never would have shone, had it been left to shine alone!
So it's with a heart that's glowing from this gratittude inside
That I thank you, deeply thank you, for the way you've opened wide
To beam out all of the bounty of the goodness and the grace

A Lesson in Compassion

I come to you now with channeled words of wisdom on the topic of compassion.
Brace yourself, for it is going to be a bumpy ride!
In your midst is the greatest challenge known to mankind -- compassion. Too
many a time has man thought himself to be rulers over all the earth, the center of
the universe, but in truth, man is miniscule in tantamount to all of creation which
in vastness cannot be described. Suffice it to say that your primitive existence is
merely a pin point reality in the large scope of what is actually taking place. This
is hard to understand, for you have limited scope in this time, for you have chosen
to do so for the sake of experience. So to better understand compassion, you
must step back from the pin point mind-frame and take in a bit of the bigger
picture.
Of course, in your spiritual journey, you have already learned how we are all
connected in Spirit and that is important to understanding the value of
compassion. Compassion is love in purest form, free from limitation and defining
factors. It is a feeling for another on the most basic level without changing
behavior for the sake of “doing good deeds,” but rather a feeling of oneness with
another and treating the other as you would yourself, an act of kindness done not
for the sake of “doing good,” but for the sake of understanding the oneness and
connection to Spirit that all beings have. I give to you, and give to myself in so
doing. I save you as I would save my own life in an emergency. We are wrought
from the same seeds, thus we carry the same material into the future. As a
father would save his child, so I would rescue you in time of need.
Blessed are those who understand that it is not in “doing” but in “being” that we
are good. For how can one who is divine not be? So say I that we are One in
likeness unto the Spirit of All That Is. Blessed be my child, that you have learned
of love, unconditional, in giving of yourself, not for doing, but for being. And it is not
in doing that we succeed; it is in being the success that we aim for.
Work from the heart.
Be the love that you wish to express and receive.
Love is not a commodity;
It is the substance of life itself.
A challenge: pray with me now,
I am the Source, because I AM.
The Source feeds me the sustenance of Love.
Love is the fortification of Life.
Love is the All.
To know Love, just Be,
And be in harmony with All That Is,
For in Being, We create,
And Our creations are good
For they are wrought from Love.
Stand with strength.
Flow like water...
Breathe with the air,
And learn what you are.
You are the Earth and the Sky.
You are the poem that speaks of All.
Your song is the twitter of birds
and the howl of the wind.
